Concept Cables manufactures and stocks FEP insulated Equipment Wires suitable for connector tails or panel wiring. These are stocked in a range of colours and sizes in convenient 100m reels.
FEP insulated wires can also be incorporated into all our bespoke manufactured cables to enhance temperature resistance during any termination processes.
Fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) is a fluorocarbon polymer insulation material suitable for use in the most challenging environments.
FEP has many advantages over PTFE such as better creep resistance and has one of the highest dielectric strengths of all fluoropolymers at 80kV/mm. Due to its manufacturing method FEP can be produced in continuous lengths and is a cost-effective alternative to BS3G210 PTFE Wire.
